Contact A&E Powder Coating

    · Work within the system to help facilitate all aspects of product realization.
    · Issue, modify, and submit purchase orders.
    · Receive purchased materials via the ERP system while verifying accuracy of receipt.
    · Provide confirmation, expedition, and follow-up on orders placed with vendors and by customers.
    · Work with customers on a daily basis to help maintain customers satisfaction and on time delivery.
    · Ensure customer orders are processed in a timely manner and constantly flowing into production for processing.
    · Work as a liaison between Valco’s sales team, vendors, and customers.
    · Serve as a role model by promoting safety, innovation, and a positive attitude.
    • The ability to learn an ERP system and accurately input data.
    • Excellent communication via phone and email.
    • The ability to adapt to change and be flexible with job duties and responsibilities.
    • relationship building abilities with vendors and customers.


    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Weld – MIG and/or TIG
    • Meet productivity standards by working efficiently and staying on task
    • Maintain quality standards by following established procedure, including proper inspection of work, completing all required documentation, and producing quality parts according to drawing requirements
    • Maintain safety standards, wearing all prescribed personal protective equipment and keeping a clean and orderly work area
    • Read and follow special instructions in router
    • Communicate issues and needs appropriately
    • Record time and production data accurately and completely
    • Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment as directed

    Skillsets & Competencies:

    • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with co-workers and management
    • Detail oriented, disciplined, and accountable for results
    • Mechanical aptitude – ability to read and understand drawings, prints, procedures, etc.
    • Ability to work well with others, be a great team player, and handle conflict/change with an open mind
