MACHINIST:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate, Set-up and operate, and/or Program, Set-up and Operate mills, drills, and lathes
- Meet productivity standards by working efficiently and staying on task
- Maintain quality standards by following established procedure, including proper inspection of work, completing all required documentation, and producing quality parts according to drawing requirements
- Maintain safety standards, wearing all prescribed personal protective equipment and keeping a clean and orderly work area
- Read and follow special instructions in router
- Communicate issues and needs appropriately
- Record time and production data accurately and completely
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment as directed
Skillsets & Competencies:
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with co-workers and management
- Detail oriented, disciplined, and accountable for results
- Mechanical aptitude – ability to read and understand drawings, prints, procedures, etc.
- Ability to work well with others, be a great team player, and handle conflict/change with an open mind
WELDER:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Weld – MIG and/or TIG
- Meet productivity standards by working efficiently and staying on task
- Maintain quality standards by following established procedure, including proper inspection of work, completing all required documentation, and producing quality parts according to drawing requirements
- Maintain safety standards, wearing all prescribed personal protective equipment and keeping a clean and orderly work area
- Read and follow special instructions in router

QUALITY ASSISTANT:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Ongoing
- First Article Inspections – inspections and submissions
- Production Part Approval Process – organization, inspections, and submissions
- Customer Returns
- Issue NCR through MIE Trak
- Issue Rework Order through MIE Trak
- Coordinate rework, pick-up / delivery, and credit memo issuance with production, shipping, and AR/AP, respectively
- Complete 8D Reports as required
- Supplier Rejections
- Issue NCR through MIE Trak, Coordinate debit with AR/AP, as necessary
- Coordinate pick up of rejected material and drop-off of replacement material with supplier, as necessary
- In-House Scrap & Rework
- Record cause, quantity, and disposition in MIE Trak
- Issue Rework order through MIE Trak
- Coordinate rework with production
- Quality Management System – maintain, revise/update, train, advise supervision of non-conformities and process failures
- Management Metrics – Maintain records, review, issue action items, disseminate monthly reports
- Forklift Licensing – Training, administering classroom and driving tests, issuing and re-issuing of licenses, and maintaining and updating records
- Safety Training Records – Convert roster sheets to PDFs and maintain training records

- Floor Inspections
- Floor associate advisement
- Perform internal process audits
- On-the-job training
- Communicating project manufacturing issues with customers
